Auto Manufacturer Programs that Help Sell Cars

Hyundai EV

There’s a lot going on in the auto industry right now, but in spite of all the challenges, it’s still a great time for consumers to buy a car with OEM incentives, whether it’s brand new or a certified pre-owned vehicle.

In many cases, it just takes the right OEM incentive program to give them the confidence and assurance that they are making the right decision. Since incentives vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and from region to region, here’s a quick breakdown.

The Hyundai Warranty

Hyundai offers one of the best OEM warranties you can find, and it comes standard with every new model. This feature is a great selling point, offering a 10-year or 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty and a 5-year or 60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty. It also comes with an anti-perforation warranty and covers parts and accessories for a year or 12,000 miles. Customers looking for peace of mind on the road will also appreciate the five-year and unlimited milage 24-hour roadside assistance.

Hyundai’s electric and hybrid powertrain coverage is also impressive. This warranty covers the hybrid or electric battery and the hybrid system components for ten years or 100,000 miles.

Hyundai’s Electric Vehicle Charging Program

There’s never been a better time to consider an electric vehicle, and Hyundai makes it even easier. They offer 250kWh or about 1000 miles of free, fast charging with their Electric Vehicle Charging Program. It’s available with the 2021 Ioniq Electric and the 2021 or 2022 Kona Electric vehicles. Drivers can use it at any Electrify America fast-charging station; they just need to create an Electrify America account. This is one of the OEM incentives that appeal to many drivers looking to make the switch to EVs.

Ford’s No-Interest Financing

Ford offers no-interest financing for five years on many of its new vehicles. Some of the eligible cars and SUVs include the 2021 Mustang and the 2022 Explorer, Ranger, and the Escape. If customers want a full-size pickup truck, they might qualify for the 0.9% interest rate for five years on the 2022 F-150.

Toyota’s Cash Back Offers

Cash in customers’ pockets is a great incentive. Toyota offers cashback on several of its new vehicles to make it easier for customers to drive away in the car, truck, or SUV of their dreams. With the 2022 Prius Prime, customers can get up to $1,500 cashback on any trim, and there’s $1,000 cashback for the 2022 Avalon and the Avalon Hybrid.

Kia’s Warranty

Kia’s warranty is another one that stands out. The basic warranty is a bumper-to-bumper warranty for five years or 60,000 miles, and they also have a powertrain warranty for ten years or 100,000 miles. The basic coverage is even transferable to another owner, so customers shopping for a used Kia can still get the warranty if the vehicle is under five years old or has under 60,000 miles.

Financing deals, lease incentives, and cashback are three of the most common manufacturer incentives for new vehicle sales. Warranties on certified pre-owned vehicles are another good selling point for customers looking to get into a used car or truck.
